FAQ
Do I need to install anything?
No. Facet runs entirely in your web browser using WebGL. Just sign in at use.facet3d.studio and start.
What browsers are supported?
Modern desktop browsers with WebGL — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. For heavy scenes with lots of post-processing, an up-to-date desktop browser with a capable GPU gives the best experience.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes one project, export up to 1080p, unlimited public sharing, and one embed — enough to explore Facet fully. See Plans & pricing.
Why does my glass look flat and grey?
Glass and other transmissive materials need an environment to refract. Set an HDRI environment and the glass will come to life. See Materials and Lighting & HDRI.
What resolution can I export at?
Free exports up to 1080p; paid plans export up to 4K. See Exporting & rendering.
Can I use my scenes on my website?
Yes — publish a live link or embed the interactive scene directly in a page. Free includes one embed; paid plans are unlimited. See Sharing & embeds.
Will I lose my work if I experiment?
No. Facet autosaves and keeps a full version history, so you can always roll back to an earlier state.
Can my team work together?
Yes — the Prism plan adds team workspaces and real-time collaboration. See Workspaces & collaboration.
How is tax handled?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. Applicable VAT or local sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your location, and remitted for you by our payment provider. VAT-registered businesses can enter a VAT number for possible reverse charge.
How do I cancel?
From your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then reverts to Free — your projects are kept. See Managing your subscription.
