Exporting & rendering
When your scene is ready, Facet can produce a finished image. What you see in the viewport — including camera angle, materials, lighting, and the full effects stack — is what gets rendered.
Exporting a still
Export produces a high-resolution image of your current view. Frame the shot with the camera first, since the viewport angle is what's captured.
Resolution by plan:
- Free — export up to 1080p.
- Radiance, Prism, Perpetual — export up to 4K.
See Plans & pricing for the full breakdown.
Getting the best render
- Frame carefully. The camera position is baked into the export — take a moment to compose the shot.
- Check your lighting. Reflections and refraction come from the HDRI environment; make sure it reads well from the chosen angle.
- Export at the highest resolution your plan allows, then downscale if you need a smaller file — downscaling keeps edges crisp.
Sharing instead of exporting
If you'd rather share something interactive than a flat image, you can publish a live link or embed the scene — see Sharing & embeds.
