Version history
Facet keeps a history of your project. Every time your work saves to the cloud, that state is retained — so you can always go back.
How it works
- Your project autosaves as you work; you don't need to save manually.
- Each save is added to the project's version history.
- You can restore an earlier version at any time, rolling the project back to how it was at that point.
This makes it safe to experiment. Try a bold new direction; if you don't like it, restore a previous version and you're back where you started.

Tips
- Because history is automatic, there's no "wrong" time to experiment — you can't lose earlier work by trying something new.
- Restoring a version brings the whole scene back to that point, so use it when you want to undo an entire direction rather than a single tweak.
