Introduction
Facet is a real-time 3D material and lighting editor that runs entirely in your web browser. It's built for turning flat artwork — SVG logos, icons, and shapes — and 3D models into rich, rendered scenes with materials, lighting, and cinematic post-processing, all without installing anything or learning a full 3D pipeline.
Everything renders live using WebGL, so what you see in the editor is what you export.
What you can do with Facet
- Give artwork depth. Import an SVG and extrude it into 3D, or bring in a model, then dress it with materials.
- Design materials. Control colour, metalness, roughness, glass and transmission to get anything from matte plastic to polished chrome to frosted glass.
- Light the scene. Use HDRI environments for realistic reflections and refraction, and shape the mood with lighting.
- Add post-processing. Layer a full effects stack — bloom, depth of field, grain, chromatic aberration, and more.
- Export and share. Render stills up to 4K, publish a live interactive link, or embed a scene in any website.
Who it's for
Designers, brand and marketing teams, and anyone who wants great-looking 3D visuals without opening heavyweight desktop software. If you can use a design tool in the browser, you can use Facet.
Before you start
Facet runs in modern browsers with WebGL support (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). For the smoothest experience use an up-to-date desktop browser — complex scenes with heavy post-processing are demanding on the GPU.
You can start for free with a single project. See Plans & pricing for what each tier unlocks.
