Stamps
Press a logo, a pattern or any grayscale image into the surface of an object, raised or carved, like an embossed seal.
A stamp takes a grayscale image and presses it into the surface you click: white is raised, black is carved. It follows the shape of whatever it lands on, any model, and it wears that object's own material, so glossy paint stays glossy paint.
Stamp an object
- Select the object and press Stamp in the top bar.
- Press Import relief image and choose a PNG, JPG or WebP. High contrast black and white artwork works best.
- Click the object where you want the stamp. Click again to stamp again.
- Press Done, or Esc, to finish.
Settings
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Intensity | How deep the relief reads |
| Brush | The size of the stamp. Hold Alt and drag up or down on the canvas to change it while you work. |
| Raised or Carved | Push the white up, or press it in |
| Mirror when available | Repeats the stamp across matching faces, such as every side of a cube |
Stamps on the selection
The list at the bottom of the panel shows every stamp on the selected object, newest at the top. Each row can be hidden, moved forward or back, or removed.
Stamps save with the project and appear in renders, on published pages and in embeds.
Not on every object
Stamps cannot go on a Genesis shape, which is rebuilt from its recipe on every change and would lose them.
