Work together live

Several people in the same scene at the same time, with every change showing for everyone as it happens.

Part ofRadiance

Open a project someone else is in and you are in the same scene. Everyone in it shows as an avatar, each person has a colour, and their cursor moves through the scene beside yours, labelled with their name. What they select is outlined in their colour.

Every change either of you makes shows for the other as it happens: a dragged object, a material, a light, an effect. While someone imports a model, the others see a placeholder where it will land.

The rule is simple: if it saves, it syncs. Anything that is part of the project reaches everyone in it.

What stays your own

Some things are about how you are looking at the scene, not the scene itself, and they stay yours:

  • Your view. Orbiting, zooming and panning move only your camera.
  • The breakpoint you are on. One person can work on the phone layout while another works on desktop.
  • Panels and preferences. Which panels are open, where you put them, and your settings.
  • Solo and X-ray in Layers.
  • Undo. Ctrl Z undoes your own changes, not other people's.

Seeing who changed what

When someone else changes a value, the control they changed lights up briefly in their colour in your panel, so you can see where the change came from.

Cameras

Saved cameras belong to the project owner. Collaborators can see the list, but adding, renaming and choosing cameras is the owner's.

Who can join

Live collaboration is part of Radiance, for workspace members and people a project is shared with. Viewers can watch the scene change but cannot edit.

Changes from an AI

When a connected AI changes a project you have open, the change appears within a second, and you can undo it like your own.
