Get help

Ask from inside the app, send feedback, or write to us. Here is where each one goes.

Ask in the app

Press Get help in the dashboard sidebar, or the support button in the editor. A panel opens beside the page where you can start a conversation, see the ones you have had, and carry on any of them.

  • Splitus, Facet's assistant, answers first, usually within moments. It knows the product, and can look into your plan and billing.
  • When something needs a person, or Splitus is not sure, the conversation is passed to the Facet team, and the panel says so.
  • Replies arrive in the panel without a refresh, and also show in Activity behind the bell, so you see them wherever you are in the app.
  • When a conversation is resolved, it closes, and you can tell us how we did with one tap. The answer is anonymous.

Enter sends a message and Shift Enter starts a new line.

If your account is waiting to be deleted, support also opens from the sign in page, without signing in.

Feedback

Feedback in the dashboard sends a note straight to the team: an idea, something that annoyed you, something you loved. Nobody replies to feedback, so use Get help for anything you need an answer to. You can send one note an hour.

Email

When something breaks

If the editor stops with an error, it shows what went wrong with a code such as FCT-GPU-01, and a Download diagnostics button. Send us the code and the file: the file describes your browser, your graphics card and the error, and never contains your scene, your email or any password. See Troubleshooting.

Is it just me?

status.facet3d.studio shows whether Facet is running normally right now.
